This a custom written CD-ROM containing seven literature units to be used with Wayside School Series by Louis Sachar.

These units are designed to be used with some student/instructor interaction. They can also be revised to be used as an independent study for the student. The units are written for a student that reads on the 3-5th grade level.

The unit lengths are as follows:
* Sideways Stories from Wayside School: 8-day unit. Please note this unit is aligned with the Common Core Standards for grades 3-5. It also contains an assessment packet in addition to what is listed below.
*Wayside School is Falling Down: 10-day unit.
*Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger: 10-day unit.

These units are designed so that you can start teaching immediately with little to no preparation on your part. Great time saver!

Each unit contains:
*Teacher Packet containing detailed daily lesson plans, an answer key, and suggested curriculum connection activities.
*Student Packet containing vocabulary activities, comprehension questions, and extended writing activities that correlate with the book.
*An after the book activity packet that can be used with any book.

These units comes in a PDF file on a CD. You can print off as many copies as you need for your classroom.

I wrote and developed these unit myself. I am a certified teacher in the state of Nebraska. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In addition to my Masters I have taken graduate courses on teaching of the Gifted and Talented. I have successfully used these activities in the classroom setting many times.
